The Matador Card Market
Nine cards.
One photo.
Priced.
Lay a 3×3 spread on the glass or a tabletop and take one photo. Toro finds every card, names it down to the variant, and prices each one against live market comps.
No account. No card. Nothing to set up.
Every value shows its work
Before it asks you for anything
Your first ten cards are free.
Not ten days. Ten cards. Put a binder page down, take one photo, and see what nine of your own cards are worth — then one more for the card you actually care about.
The allowance counts cards, not photos: a full 3×3 bed uses nine, a single card uses one. No account, no payment method, no trial timer. When the ten are spent, Toro asks — and by then you have seen whether it is any good on your own collection.
What it does
Built to do three things well.
A scanner that reads a whole page at once, comps that show their work, and a record of what the collection is worth over time.
The 3×3 read
Up to nine cards in one photo, off a flatbed or a dark tabletop — still in their sleeves. Toro finds each card, squares it up, identifies it, prices it, and one tap files the spread in your collection. An empty pocket is recorded as an empty pocket, so the scan doubles as a want list for a set you are completing.
Comps that show their work
Every value arrives with its evidence: floor, median, and how many listings it came from. When look-alike printings split the comps — base against parallel, one alt art against another — Toro flags it and hands you the variant picker. It is built to say “check this” rather than to sound confident.
The Ring
A live board of listings tuned to the games you collect and the price window you buy in, refreshed every five minutes and measured against median and floor. Buy-zone flags, watchlist pins, and scam-pattern listings intercepted before they reach the board. The Ring finds. You decide — Toro never buys and never sells you cards.
What am I worth
The number, and the honesty around it.
Three figures that are never blended into one: what Toro can price, what it is unsure of, and what it could not price at all.

The fine print, up front
What Toro does not claim.
Card software is full of numbers nobody can back. Here is what we are deliberately not saying.
- We do not quote an accuracy percentage. We have not published a measured one. A figure without a methodology behind it is a marketing number. When we have run the measurement, we will publish the method with it.
- Multi-card scanning is not unique to Toro. Other apps read several cards from one photo, and some do it free. Our bet is what happens after the read: variant-level identification, floor and median and sample size on every value, graded prices beside raw, and a human asked to decide when the comps genuinely split.
- Values are asking-price comps, not sold prices. Toro measures live listings — what the market is asking today — and labels them that way everywhere they appear. It is a real number, and it is not the same number as a completed sale, so the two never wear the same label.
- Toro is not a buyer, a seller, or an appraiser. It links you to live listings with the numbers you need and gets out of the way. Nothing here is a guarantee of value, an offer, or financial advice.

Straight answers
Before you pay.
Which games?
One Piece, Pokémon, Naruto, Dragon Ball, Final Fantasy and sports cards are live today. Yu-Gi-Oh!, Digimon and Weiss Schwarz are on the bench, not in the box.
Do I need a flatbed scanner?
No. A phone camera over a dark tabletop works. A flatbed is simply the fastest way to get nine cards into one frame perfectly flat, which is why the app is built around a 3×3.
Is there an iPhone app?
Toro runs in your browser and installs to your home screen like an app — that is how it ships today. A native iPhone build is in progress. It is not on the App Store yet, and we are not going to pretend otherwise.
What happens to my card photos?
Images are sent off the device to third-party image-recognition services to be read. The privacy policy states what is uploaded and what is kept.
What happens right after I pay?
An access email within 24 hours from tc@matador-llc.com, with confirmation that your monthly billing is set up. Anything unclear, reply to it.
Who is behind it?
Matador Vanguard LLC in Spring, Texas — the same house as Matador Club, the Market Desk and Matador Green. Built by a collector who got tired of typing cards in one at a time.
Ten cards. Then decide.
